I am a huge fan of bright colors! Incorporating pops of color from my spring/summer wardrobe is an excellent way to make my closet stretch. Since temperatures have been hovering in the 70s here in NY I can still wear my sandals.
Oh and please excuse the background my house is under construction!
I’ve been on a bit of a shopping rampage this month. Looking for nothing in particular just randomly impulse shopping which always gets me into trouble. In any event I managed to snag so few awesome pieces that you will definitely be seeing in future posts.
Shoemint had a great sale over the 4th of July weekend; 50% off of all sale items, so I scored these two lovely ladies for all $19.99 each.
There are two things that you should know about me I love animal print, and the only thing I love more that are shoes!
I found these awesome pieces are Target.
I love these shoes and they were a steel I picked up from guess where…the little boys department at Target! They are actually a boys size 3 (I’m typically a 5.5 or a 6 in women’s).
I was thrilled when I found these pieces at JCrew Factory. I’m especially excited about the jean jacket even though it’s nearly 100 degrees outside I can’t wait for fall to come so I can wear it.
My uncle was nice enough to get me this hat from PLNDR. Haha “dope” is one of my favorite words!
Finally I picked up a couple of item from the Henri Bendel website. Right now if you sign up for their emails they will give you a coupon code for 10% your first order. These are my first purchases from Henri Bendel and I’m very pleased, I love these earrings so much I’ve worn them everyday since I bought them.
When I’m craving new pieces for my closet I like to put together inspiration boards. That way I can get a clear visual understanding of what my outfits will look like. I find this is a great way to save me money as I can often do senseless shopping; buying single items that I fall in love with, but can never figure out exactly how to match with other pieces.
One of my all time fashion favorites is animal print. This look combines a Zara top that I needed to have and J. Crew pants that nearly maybe faint from joy when I saw the color; along with some pieces that I already had in my closet.
Let me know what some of your fashion favorites are!
